This is the, let's see, one, two, three, four, FIFTH time I have featured my hands on this photoblog. Out of 38 photos total. That's 13% of all my photos. Man. For having such ugly hands, I sure do seem to like 'em.

Where/What: I have collected little bouncy balls for as long as I can remember. I usually end up getting those ugly multicolored swirl balls from the vending machines, but I keep trying. Sometimes I do get lucky and get a ball like this. (And sometimes I just find them. I found a green one in the street last week.)
Camera: Fuji S700

Thankful for: bouncy balls!

Seriously. How do you get such good macros? They're really great and I'm horribly jealous.
Obviously I meant past the point where... sheesh.
Adam- Here's the process:
1. Come up with a concept and figure out a light source (sun? lamp? window?).
2. Go shoot it.
3. Take like 60 shots from 20 different angles, 30 of which deviate from the original concept. (This image here was not my original plan.)
4. Upload them, decide which look best as thumbnails, and delete 55 of them (which, in iPhoto, is a reversible process).
5. Process one of the decent ones.
TA DA!
John- I thought I'd arranged the settings such that the photo you linked to was invisible to the public eye. Obviously I was wrong.
I have now deleted both the photo and your comment. I'm sorry. Some things I don't want flaunted all over the internet (especially things that were published on the internet in the first place out of poor judgement).
I understand, and I apologize for putting it out there.
i love the color... and the sharpness... but i really don't like the title... if that matters at all...
