This clock, which lives in my parents' house in New Jersey, has been nonfunctional for as long as I can remember. Once, when I was small, I tried to cajole this clock into working by pushing its hands around the face. It actually ticked for a few hours. But I think that's why the minute hand is bent at a strange angle.

hhhhmmm... i am not sure what to say... except that, somehow, this image feels very different from what you typically do...
wait... it is over a year old... maybe that is the difference...
Generally (very generally) speaking, I've been trying to pursue a more creative vision with this particular photoblog.
That vision often seems to involve abstracted macros and bright colors.
This particular image is unplayful and kind of boring. It's the sort of thing I often try to keep from creating nowadays.
...I'm rolling my eyes at myself. I've taken like 10 photos since I've been in Chicago, so "try to keep from creating nowadays" is not the best choice of words.
it happens... you're busier now... honestly, i am impressed that you are still posting... i had to give it up (because of the job)...
