This is the backdoor entrance to Monmouth Mall's Boscov's. The awning used to belong to Sterns, and before that to A&S.

And, while I'm on the subject of department stores coming and going, this location of Boscov's has announced that it will be closing, too. I don't think its replacement has been figured out yet.

I think of Monmouth Mall being roughly the right size for a mall. It's actually rather small compared to some other malls in its state (NJ), never mind Mall of America or West Edmonton Mall. However, to some I'm sure Monmouth Mall is huge.

In short, Monmouth Mall : malls :: our sun : stars.
